| Vinny
Sky has 15 years experience in the tattoo
industry. He grew up in Ohio where he
was trained by a professional Tattoo
artist who had 25 years experience.
He was also mentored by a “new
school” artist. Vinny relocated
to Phoenix, Arizona in 1995 continuing
his career at Blue Dragon. In 1996 he
moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to manage
Blue Dragon there. In 1997, he purchased
Blue Dragon changing the name to Art
with a Pulse Tattoo. Vinny
has won several competitions receiving
trophies and certificates for his
outstanding tattoo work. Vinny’s
body art has been featured in Skin
Art, Tattoo, local and statewide news
articles.
While working
in Coconino County, Vinny worked with
the Health Department to construct
health regulations concerning the
tattoo industry. These regulations
are used as a model for proposals
throughout the state of Arizona. Vinny
has done televised news interviews
and lectures at Northern Arizona University
and local high schools educating communities
on the health and safety of tattooing.
In August 2007,
Vinny sold his successful business,
“Art with a Pulse” and
is excited to be back at Blue Dragon
in Glendale.
Vinny has been
a member of Alliance of Professional
Tattoo Artists and National Tattoo
Association.
Vinny specializes
in old school, new school, traditional,
oriental and black and grey tattoos.
Vinny takes pride in his ability to
design tattoos that fit his customer’s
needs and desire.
